Hey 👋 I’m Taiki

I usually tell people my name is pronounced “Nike” but with a “T”. (Lots of user research done there 😄)

I got into design because for as long as I can remember I’ve been surrounded by it. From my dad showing me his golf ball engineering process, to my mom showing me how she matches materials when creating her Japanese kimono handbags, it’s something I’ve grown up on.

I value team collaboration over anything. I’m a firm believer that by embracing each individual’s expertise and trusting one another, you’ll go much further than the individual who does everything alone.

When I’m not designing, I love to travel, play basketball, or enjoy a nice cup of green tea.
